Kelsey Putvin, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Putvin completed her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2009, and her Doctorate of Audiology at Central Michigan University in 2013.
A Midwesterner through and through, she moved to Duluth after graduation and immediately fell in love with life along the shores of Lake Superior.
She is passionate about providing exceptional audiologic care and knows what a privilege it is to work alongside patients on their hearing healthcare journey. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, with a particular interest in tinnitus and cochlear implants.
Whether she is training for a race with her husband, or trying to keep up with her two boys, Dr. Putvin enjoys filling her free time with running. She also loves to take advantage of the endless hiking opportunities in town and along the North Shore. When she isn’t running or exploring, you can usually find her curled up on her couch with her dogs, or tucked away in a local coffee shop reading a good book.

Karri Kiefat
Director of Operations
Karri ensures that the practice is running smoothly and efficiently. She oversees Human Resources, training, accounts receivable/payable, tracking and strategic planning for the office.

Karri received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Business and her Master of Business Administration from Bethel University in 2009.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son doing many activities related to sports, the outdoors and family.
Karla Beheng, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Karla is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. She went into this profession for the passion of helping people hear better, and to achieve a better quality of life.
She ensures that the patients are taken care of for the lifetime of their hearing aids. She assists the patients in selecting technology, fitting, and programming of the devices, cleaning, checking, and minor repairs.
Karla has been in the industry for 14 years. She received her certificate in Hearing and Health Sciences from International Hearing Society. Her passion for hearing healthcare, and building relationships is rooted in its ability to help her patients lead more fulfilling lives.
In her free time, Karla enjoys the outdoors, riding horses, snowmobiling, and spending time with her husband Duane and their boys.

Carsen Wetzel
Patient Care Coordinator
Carsen is a smiling, friendly face when you come into the Duluth office. They are eager to help patients navigate the process to get scheduled, answer questions, or offer quick tips and tricks for hearing aid trouble shooting. They strive to make each interaction positive, informative, and engaging.
Carsen is an aspiring audiologist and looks forward to serving the hearing health community after completing their education. As a hearing aid user themselves, they enjoy using their life-skill based knowledge to help educate others about hearing aids, and breaking the stigma that hearing health and treatment isn’t “just for old people”.
Outside of work, Carsen enjoys spending time with friends at their weekly Dungeons and Dragons sessions, working on various knitting projects, or cuddling with their two kitties; Luther and Theodore.
